Costa del Sol Estepona Marathon: An event with its own identity

The Costa del Sol Estepona Marathon was created with a clear vision: to become a benchmark on the national and international race calendar, focusing on a carefully curated, exclusive format centered on the runner.

Building on the success of the Estepona Half Marathon, this new event takes a step forward with the addition of two official distances: 21K and 42K, opening participation both to runners looking to debut at the distance and to those pursuing new personal challenges.

The event is presented under the concept of a “Boutique Marathon”, a distinctive proposal that limits participation to 2,000 runners in this first 2026 edition. This allows for a more personalized experience, avoiding overcrowding and guaranteeing attention to detail in every aspect of the race: from the course to runner services.

In addition, the event maintains a strong commitment to its surroundings, offering special conditions and exclusive benefits for local runners and those from nearby areas such as Campo de Gibraltar and the Western Costa del Sol.
